On April 19, in celebration of Earth Day, the Horseshoe Bay POA and the City of Horseshoe Bay provided the opportunity for its residents to enjoy a beautiful, spring day and a chance to acquire information that could help them become better stewards of our community and personal property. The event was a success, and we hope all participants enjoyed it as much as we did.
Attendees to the event were greeted by a group of exhibitors. Thank you to the following exhibitors for providing everyone with informative information. Condor Document Services with Shredding of documents-sponsored by HSB Business Alliance; Goodwill Industries for recycling of electronics; Paul & Patty Gosselin with Night Scenes Landscape Lighting Professionals; HSB Fire Department; Bill Teeter & Sherri Pollard from the City of Horseshoe Bay; Britt Briant of LCRA; Robert Edmonson, Texas A&M Forester, on Oak Wilt; Ricky Lane with Highland Lakes Master Gardener Association; Elias Guerrero with Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center; Patsy Wiley with Tower Gardening for your patio; and April Welty with Marble Falls Balance Spa.
None of this would be possible without the Board of Directors and their sponsorship of this event. Horseshoe Bay POA provided everyone with hot dogs and chips. Finally, we thank the members of our community who supported this event with their attendance.
We now begin the planning for the 2019 event and hope everyone will join us again.
