The Mausoleum is located in the Eileen M. Hurd Nature Preserve along the south side of Horseshoe Creek. This property was deeded to the Horseshoe Bay Property Owners' Association, Inc. as a nature park to be preserved in its natural state for the benefit of present and future property owners. A nature trail was constructed in 1990. The Preserve was subsequently deeded to the City of Horseshoe Bay in 2013. The existing Mausoleum remains deeded to the Memorial Association along with necessary easements and access paths.
The access road to the Park and Mausoleum is located between Horseshoe Bay and Horseshoe Bay South off Mountain Dew and may be visited daily during daylight hours by property owners and their guests.
