OUR ROADS HAVE SERVED US WELL
But…The roads in Horseshoe Bay are over 30 years old, well beyond the anticipated life when constructed as country roads. However, our roads, in their current condition, detract from the value of each of our properties when compared to other communities within the City.
Base failures have appeared on some of the major roads and should be immediately addressed to prevent further degradation to the roads.
We must renew our roads now to prevent further deterioration and bring the quality of our roads up to the standards expected in Horseshoe Bay. This renewal will enhance the value of each property, be it a vacant lot for further development or resale, a weekend home or a permanent home.
The POA is devising a plan which will address these problems.
Horseshoe Bay POA members will shortly receive a survey relating to a road renewal program. Please read, evaluate and return the survey to assist in devising a final plan to protect our investments and improve our quality of life.
