Independence Day 2026
The countdown to July 4 is on, and everything you need to plan your morning is here. This year’s celebration, themed “Liberty, Community & 250 Years Strong,” centers on participation, with the parades bringing that spirit to life.

Here is the day's itinerary and maps for the land and boat parades.

Anyone who wants to join the land parade should get balloons at 420 Hi Cir S and line up there. Participation is open to all; no RSVP or registration is required. This year, the parade, lineup, and judging start 30 minutes earlier, so arrive early. Here is the map of the land parade.

The festivities begin at 10:00 AM at Quail Point Lodge, with children’s games in front, face painting inside, and food and drinks in the back at Quail Point Park.

Pre-registration is required for the dog parade; here is the link. Assembly is at 10:00, and the parade starts at 10:30.

The boat parade assembles at 10:00 east of Island Drive. Here is the map for the boat parade, which starts at 10:30.

The Patriotic Program begins at 11:30 inside Quail Point Lodge. Our event ends shortly after, leaving your holiday open for more patriotic celebrations.
Do you have a great picture of Horseshoe Bay? We would love to have it! Please send it to: communications@hsbpoa.org. Thanks -
